I feel like this (almost) melted snowman, reduced to a plop of frozen water crystals. Sigh.
I've the weekend off but next week am ON CALL for 6 days in a row. On the firing line, open to all that's possible from the archives of illness. Sometimes I'm flat out weary of renal disease. Sigh.
So sorry. Hang in there. Perhaps its a bit pf shell-shock after all you've been through emotionally. Do something gently indulgent for yourself as a reward.
ReplyDeleteI know it looks different from where you sit, but when Ken was so sick with pneumonia and the doctors were worried about his kidneys, the person who made all the difference was the "kidney specialist." I know you must hear this often, Kate, and let me say it again for patients everywhere: thank you.
